You hold the vessel of nectar of immortality amrita and bless your loyal sadhakas. Where Shiva is worshiped, You are also worshiped there. You are the nature of pure consciousness. You control the vital prana and give yogic powers to the sadhaka. You conquer passions, sexual lust, greed, anger, jealousy and liberate from intoxicating illusions. I worship You, Kundalini Shakti, who leads to Shiva by piercing the lotuses in the sushumna nadi. You are consciousness, awakening and rising. I worship you who bathe in the stream of nectar. You are the source of all scriptures. You are the creator of the world in the form of sound. You are the fierce form of Shiva which surpasses all gods. You create scriptures and are the source of wisdom. In your hand you hold a book and with the other you bless those who follow the spiritual teaching of yoga.

Mahavidyas represent transcendental knowledge and powers. The ten Mahavidyas are the ten degrees of transcendental cognition. They are the sources of all that is to be known. Mahadevi, the great Goddess, also called Maya, causes captivity, leads astray in ignorance, this is called avidya. But it is also liberating. The ten Mahavidyas are the ten forms in which the Goddess brings enlightenment and liberating knowledge called vidya.
